John has been singing and playing music since he was 4yrs old. His musical influences are taken from blues, soul and rock and roll. John is an accomplished singer, acoustic rhythm guitarist and percussionist. John is an avid supporter of live bands and resists conforming to the current trends within musical venues to employ "musos" who produce an inflexible , "perfect" sound that is associated with computerized midi tracks. John's main aim as a performer is to entertain. If entertaining means, he stops mid way through a song to interact with an attentive audience, then he will. |
| If entertaining means inviting an audience member up to sing a song with him and the band, then he will do it. The audience and their enjoyment is John's priority. It always has been and will always be. |

Dean has been playing bass guitar for many years. He has played in many bands over the years and is happiest when working with the dynamics of a live band context. His musical influences are taken from blues, soul and rock and roll. For Dean, live musos means unpredictability and therefore entertainment. Dean musical style reflects his personality. That is, when he's feeling 'hot' , his music playing is even hotter. Dean believes that his playing should always leave an audience leaving a gig happy. |

Mick got his first drumsticks at 7. He started on drums at the age of 12 playing the Beatles in the garage. His performing career started when he played Old Time Dances with hisNan on a old pigskin shod kit at 15. He joined his first band at the age of 17: a garage band called the Backyard Bastards. All the sound went through one amp! Mick then went on to play RnB and Rock in a number of bands including Inverell and Steampig. He played lots of funk in Malfunktion and disco in Felix in the 70s. After that. Mick experimented with mostly Folk Rock and on to Bush Music with Bindi in the 80s. |
| His experimentation continued with lots of Irish Traditional on the bodhran in the 90s, rock with the longnecks, then cool jazz with Daryl's band in 2003-4, and on to No Frills Honey in 2006. |

Daryl has been an accomplished singer, saxophonist and percussionist for many years. Daryl is a natural musician whose greatest asset is his ability to improvise. His musical influences are jazz, blues, soul, and rock and roll. Daryl does not conform to the "midi" trend and is a strong supporter of live bands. For Daryl, music is the rhythm of his life. When performing and entertaining, Daryl is happiest. For Daryl, his audience must leave a gig happier than when they came in and his musical experience over the years ensures such an outcome. |

Sammy is a highly experienced singer and lead guitarist. For Sammy, getting it right musically is what makes him happiest. His musical influences are jazz, blues, soul, and rock and roll. Having worked in bands over many years has contributed to Sammy's love of the dynamics found within a live band situation. For Sammy also, the audience must leave a gig happier than when they came in. With an incredible ability to create vocal harmony, Sammy enriches the vocal capacity of the band.
