John has been singing and playing music since I was 4 years old at home with my brothers and my father, an accomplished singer himself. I love listening to Blues, Soul and Rock n' Roll which has influenced my own song writing and the way in which I love to perform. I've been told that I'm a bit of a jack-of-all-trades; I mainly play acoustic rhythm guitar and sing although I will jump on the bass and percussion throughout a gig just to mix it up! |
| Sound is incredibly important to me, but I refuse to be perfect by playing along with computerised midi tracks for accompaniment. My aim is to entertain, not sound like a pre-recorded, sterile and manufactured pop artist. Come to one of our gigs and you will see me and the No Frills Honey band having a great time! Interacting with an audience is vital to me, it's your energy that I feed from. Don't be scared if I invite you to come on up and sing a tune with us, it's all in fun and we are there to entertain you! |

Dean has been playing bass guitar for many years. He has played in many bands over the years and is happiest when working with the dynamics of a live band context. His musical influences are taken from blues, soul and rock and roll. For Dean, live musos means unpredictability and therefore entertainment. Dean musical style reflects his personality. That is, when he's feeling 'hot' , his music playing is even hotter. Dean believes that his playing should always leave an audience leaving a gig happy. |

Clay - Music has been with me since I can remember; I started playing drums at 7, and with Phill Collins & Ringo Starr showing me the way I was hooked. As I got older I developed very different tastes in music from my friends. I loved all types of music from Country to Heavy Metal & R&B.
My drumming sessions lasted till I was 15, no fault of mine but the neighbours had enough! So I guess taking up the guitar was the next step and then came the Piano & Bass, which I constantly use to help write and construct music from a different perspective.

| I have played most of my material in Open Mic sessions over the last 4 years and enjoyed every minute of it. I have also been involved in many cover bands in the last 10 years and played gigs at various venues in Sydney. My music gives me two pleasures. Creating a song form one chord and one word, and then performing that song as it’s own creation. |

Daryl has been an accomplished singer, saxophonist and percussionist for many years. Daryl is a natural musician whose greatest asset is his ability to improvise. His musical influences are jazz, blues, soul, and rock and roll. Daryl does not conform to the "midi" trend and is a strong supporter of live bands. For Daryl, music is the rhythm of his life. When performing and entertaining, Daryl is happiest. For Daryl, his audience must leave a gig happier than when they came in and his musical experience over the years ensures such an outcome. |

Zman For 16 years Andrew has developed and maintained a reputation as an accomplished drummer, conguero and percussionist. In achieving a high aptitude for learning all genres from rock, pop, funk, jazz to latin, he will play anything that he can get his hands on. Drums were the first from the age of 10 and then a great liking came to playing the congas and becoming an all-round percussionist, which had Andrew take some study under the great Richie Gajate Garcia. |
| He loves the “live” atmosphere of a band where you just play it all. Andrew has endured a life of playing in many bands, duos and trios and has now joined “No frills honey!!!” to bring an added flavour to the band bringing a live performance on both the drums and the congas. Watch out for those hands in his conga solo! |
